The Whimsical Sponsorship initiative supports teams, schools, and individuals. The Team Whimsy Sponsorship program is available for robotics teams who strive to encourage friendly competition and iterative design in their schools and communities, local or global. These teams will embody teamwork, creativity, innovation, community, Gracious Professionalism® and Coopertition®.

Teams around the world, rookies and veterans, are encouraged to join our community. Those that are selected to receive a sponsorship will become part of #TeamWhimsy. As Whimsical teams or The Whimsys, you will join our community of aspiring and seasoned STEM educators, roboticists, engineers, and creatives.

Sponsored teams and organizations have early access to discounts, new products, specialized communication, unique partnership opportunities, and will be Whimsical brand ambassadors. #TeamWhimsy's top performing teams will also receive rewards such as exclusive swag, spotlights, and more over the course of the season.

Applications for the 2023-2024 season are open until November 30 @ 6PM EST. Limited sponsorships are available. Sponsorship Awardees for the 2023-2024 season will all be notified via email by December 15. #TeamWhimsy members shall also have a spotlight on our social media sites as they are selected and on #TeamWhimsy by December 31. We thank everyone for their interest in our sponsorship, and encourage interested teams to apply.

We currently offer sponsorships for teams in the following programs: SeaPerch, any Drone Robotics Competition, MicroMouse, FIRST (FRC and FTC) and VEX (VRC and VEX U). If your program is not listed, but you would like to be sponsorship, send us a message at sponsor@whimsytech.net.

For each currently sponsored program, three (3) teams will be selected to receive a 15% discount for every order for the remainder of the season, ending May 31, 2024.* One (1) additional team will receive our top sponsorship offering, a 20% discount for every order for the remainder of the season, ending May 31, 2024.*
